Terry Thompson lived here in Nizas. He was a world class Jazz musician and has played with the greatest and the best.

His anecdotes and his talent of pricking pomposity make him loved by all who know him. If you met him you should have asked him what Miles Davis once said to him.

Here are two pictures of Terry in 1961 at the Hanwell Viaduct in West London, he got 10/6 for the gig (about 80c). Terry is the one with the Beard, playing next to George McFarlane
