How to become Invisible

Hi - I am just back from a quick trip to Paris looking at apartments for clients and owners. Any time of the year Paris is an exciting, vibrant and beautiful city. I try to stay in different places every visit and have got to know a few of the many different personalities Paris has. I first came to Paris in 1961 by motorbike, I remember living on pickled eggs bought from all night cafes in rue des Gobelins.

Perhaps my diet of Sushi and pickled eggs has made me partially invisible because this week I noticed a strange phenomenon. I seem to be invisible to young Japanese tourists. In the narrow streets of the 1st and 4th arrondissements, from it seemed every hotel and shop doorway, young Japanese tourists emerged directly in front of me or sometimes one in front and one behind - they continued for hundreds of meters walking very slowly and chatting - always acting as if I was not there - I could not pass due to the narrow sidewalk, protective barriers and bollards, then where it was clear the road was buzzing with scooters, Smart cars and SUVs - I was penned in by characters from a manga cartoon - If anyone has an explanation for this or has had experiences similar, please drop me a mail tony@nizas.com

I was in Paris looking at apartments for clients and to add listings to the websites. The recent articles and research I have done on Fractional Ownership has created a huge amount of interest and I am now adding good properties to add to this part of the www.Nizas.com website.

Here are two opportunities for a freehold investment and home in Paris.

Rue du Colonel Combes - in the 7th

Rue Nesle - in the 6th

The www.nizas.com website is focused on real-estate opportunities, especially Fractional Ownership and Usufruit investments

Looking for a home in France is very time consuming and can be exasperating. If you are doing this from a distance it is difficult to do more than just scratch the surface in a two week visit. Agents do not publish the location, usually not even the village a property is in, few have "for sale" boards, so you can find yourself wasting many days. The Internet offers ways to shortlist suitable looking properties, but there are problems with this - I mention some of these in this newsletter.

Recently I provided a Property Profiling Service for a reader, this can be a valuable and very cost effective way to pinpoint opportunities and save a huge amount of time and money.
