Five Hundred and Fifty Five Nanometers

I am in Paris most of next week looking at apartments for clients and to add listings to the websites. The recent articles and research I have done on Fractional Ownership has created a huge amount of interest and I am looking for good properties to add to this part of the www.Nizas.com website. I will be having breakfast on the Champs Elysee Monday morning, you are welcome to join me.

As soon as I get back, I am off to London for a few days taking my Daughter Clio. She is going to spend seven weeks in London studying business and commerce as part of her course, so you are welcome to join me the next Monday morning for breakfast in Piccadilly.

In reality I do not have a jet-set lifestyle, normally my transport is by bicycle with Carole around the local vineyards. Spring was later than usual this year so with the intensity of the light and the rapid changes in the vegetation, the variety of different shades of green is something I have never seen so strikingly. Green is right in the middle of the visible spectrum - hence the title of this newsletter - 555 nanometers - it would make a good name for a rock group.

Many thanks to all who wrote to me about Miranda, my daughter, who is looking for a family position for the long summer - she is writing to everyone and is very grateful for all your offers.

The original www.nizas.com website is still there but the main site is being focused on real-estate opportunities, especially Fractional Ownership and Uesfruit investments

Looking for a home in France is very time consuming and can be exasperating. If you are doing this from a distance it is difficult to do more than just scratch the surface in a two week visit. Agents do not publish the location, usually not even the village a property is in, few have "for sale" boards, so you can find yourself wasting many days. The Internet offers ways to shortlist suitable looking properties, but there are problems with this - I mention some of these in this newsletter.

Recently I provided a Property Profiling Service for a reader, this can be a valuable and very cost effective way to pinpoint opportunities and save a huge amount of time and money.
