|
France is the new UKIt looks like everything I have been writing this month is to do with buying property in France. What I have been doing is more research into community websites, I asked last month for feedback on my idea for a name for my new business, I have been working around the name - Portable Soup - and this got a lot of comments on the line that it had nothing to do with what I was doing.Fair enough, but it depends what I am going to do and finding good names is difficult - I really would like some more feedback and I have put some notes on a site at http://www.PortableSoup.com so I look forward to hearing from you In the next newsletter I promise I will write a lot more news about things other than real-estate I have been writing about some of the frustrations of buying property in France getting the goods on you In France, getting information from most agents is like getting blood from a stone french estate agents If there is a demand I could try to give you a service for specific pricing and estimates building costs in france-2 A calculator which shows how much you will have to pay the Notaire in fees and taxes cost of buying a house in france I am sharing some of the pages I know and use regularly - useful links getting information about places and property part one/ This used to mean a visit to the local Mairie, waiting for everyone to come out of the pub/cafe/bar/bordello plan cadastrale is on line/ Seventeen sound bites, three lines to put them all in, I can't get it right haiku 2 a question Amazon wine conjures up an image of muddy water and piranha fish amazon wine There are over 2,000 features and articles on this site about French life and living in France. You can search from the search box above. Do browse through our website and please use the advertising links, they help pay for the site. I do try to reply to all mail - Contact Me - most is about property or living in France. I publish comments in this newsletter which I believe are of interest and may help find answers for people wanting to come to France. I hope readers will go to the adverts which help support our overheads. |
